The marathon  serves as an educational platform to highlight the importance of cultural heritage traditions. Through pre – event campaigns, interactive sessions and cultural exhibitions, participants  learn about the unique customs, languages, dressing styles and traditional practices of different ethnic groups. The event  also emphasizes the need to preserve intangible cultural heritage such as oral tradition, Music and rituals which are at a risk of erosion due to modernization
